Mythical Comic

This vintage comic conversion of my old paintings is something I wanted to do for a while now. It consists of two old works, the minotaur and the image of Zeus in the corner. Enjoy!

Classic Characters

Some more Character Illustrations, classic icons such as Frankenstien and Hades have rich backgrounds, always a pleasure to put your own face to a classic character. I usually start off with a traditional pencil drawing then use Photoshop to paint with varied brushes and blends.

Old work 08-09

A few concept paintings done quite some time ago, some Frazzetta influence. The dude with needles is a complete random!

This Illustration was done some time ago now, with 'Clash of the Titans' remake with us soon(big fan of the original by the way, well, Ray Harryhausen fan)I thought a good time to show this. I enjoyed a good greek myth when I was younger and Theseus and the Minotaur was a memorable tale.

Hello and welcome to my blog, I do hope you enjoy my posts. Please feel free to comment on my work and direct any questions to my email.

I thought I would start with a painting I produced at University. A long time ago now but a time that was filled with great memories and exciting prospects for me and my career. Put towards my final year I produced a visual adaption of Stephen King's Novel 'The Wastelands' from the 'The Dark Tower' series, this image is taken from one particular pivotal scene where a boy moves from one world to another via a very scary house.

I used acrylic, ink, chalk and pastels on oil painting paper, which has a unique surface texture that provides interesting results. After this and a few more images from this project I believed illustration to be my strongest asset in paving the way for my career .
